Police firearms raid leads to drugs arrest
Police officers who searched a Blackpool house for a suspected illegal firearm instead recovered a stash of class B drugs.
Armed officers entered the Newhouse Road property at around 8.50pm yesterday.
Several bags of cannabis were found, along with a set of weighing scales. A man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
No firearm was recovered.
