Police appeal to trace missing boys

Two teenage boys, who are missing from their homes in Buxton, may be in Preston or Blackpool, say police.

Officers are searching for 13-year-old Kian Such and 14 year-old Barclay Redford after they went missing nearly a week ago.

Kian is described as slim build, 5ft 2in tall with short light brown coloured hair. Kian was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms, a black hooded jacket and black trainers.

Barclay is described as slim build, 5ft 7in tall with short dark/ginger coloured hair. Barclay was last seen wearing black jogging bottoms, a black jacket and black trainers.

Police are now appealing for members of the public to help trace the missing pair.

A spokesman said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of the missing boys. They were last seen travelling from the Buxton area to Preston and Blackpool.

"Both are still believed to be together."
