Police are looking to speak to a man after inappropriate photographs were taken of unsuspecting schoolgirls at a fast food restaurant in Blackpool.

The incident happened at McDonalds on Bank Hey Street at around 4.30pm on Tuesday April 5.

A man was reported to have taken photographs up the skirts of a group of four girls aged 12 and 13 years.

Officers are now looking to speak to a man, captured by CCTV cameras inside the restaurant, in relation to the incident.

Sergeant Jim Ormand, from Blackpool Police, said: “This is obviously a concerning incident where a group of unsuspecting school girls appear to have had inappropriate photographs taken of them and we have spoken to the girls and their parents.

“We are keen to trace the man pictured in connection with our on-going investigation and I would urge anyone who recognises him or has any information about who he might be to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
