A man has been airlifted to hospital after having his neck slashed in a Fleetwood knife attack.
The man, understood to be in his 50s, was found in Hatfield Avenue by neighbours after being stabbed inside a flat, police said.
He was flown to Royal Preston Hospital after suffering ‘serious’ injuries.
Three other men were also hurt, suffering cuts, a spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service said.
One was taken to Preston Hospital, while two were taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, she added.
The emergency services were called to the street at around 12.20pm, when a 43-year-old man from Fleetwood was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, police said.
A force spokeswoman said he was one of those less seriously hurt, although it is not yet clear what injuries he suffered.
In a statement, Lancashire Police said: “Detectives are in the early stages of an investigation and enquiries are on-going.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist officers with their investigation can contact police on 101 quoting log 622 of 12th July.”
This afternoon’s incident comes five weeks after a similar stabbing in Hatfield Avenue.
In June, a 45-year-old woman suffered stab wounds to her stomach at a flat around 100 yards down the road.
A 62-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and later bailed until next month.
The two incidents are not believed to be linked, police said.
