A FORMER RAF policeman who describes himself as “The Hulk” sent threatening and abusive texts to his girlfriend.

Nathan Davies, 26, also phoned the woman threatening to slit her throat and her son’s.

Davies, formerly of Abbey Road, now living at Plumpton Avenue, South Shore, admitted harassing her between January 6 and March 13.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said Davies became extremely jealous and believed she was having an affair when she got a new job in a bar.

Davies sent her text messages daily, calling her offensive names, and sent one text which read: “You’re dead and so is he.”

Davies’ girlfriend told police he had described himself as “The Hulk” and she was frightened he would kill her and her son.

Alan Godwin, defending, told Blackpool Magistrates’ Court Davies had been a bar manager who worked long hours, but once he left for university he could not cope with the change in their relationship and accused her of having an affair.

Davies was sentenced to 12 months supervision and ordered to pay £110 costs with by Blackpool magistrates.
