Pair accused of taking images of girls

Two men accused of taking indecent videos of teenage girls and putting them on a social media site have made their first appearance at court.

Christopher Correa and Ashton Wallwork are alleged to have committed the offences in a flat at St Annes in October last year, a court was told.

Correa, 20, of Boothley Road, and Ashton Wallwork, 18, of Warley Road, both of Blackpool, are each charged with taking an indecent video of a child and distributing an indecent video of a child.

Prosecutor, Peter Bardsley, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.

The defendants were both bailed and will next appear before Preston Crown Court on June 3.

They appeared before District Judge Jeff Brailsford, who was sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
