Two men accused of robbing teenage boys in Poulton have made their first appearance in court.

Owen Francis, 23, of London Street, Fleetwood, and Joseph Shardley-Davies, aged 22, of Waring Drive, Thornton, are charged with robbing one teenager of a mobile phone, door keys and cash valued together at £84 and robbing another boy of £3 cash, magistrates were told.

The pair are also accused of the attempted robbery of another teenager for his phone.

The offences are alleged to have taken place against 16-year-old boys at Poulton on April 14 this year.
