Online chat fear sent ex into a rage

Stewart Scott then made threats towards the other man and wrapped a dog chain round his knuckles.

Scott, 27, of St Heliers Road, South Shore, pleaded guilty to breach of the peace.

He was bound over in the sum of £50 for six months by Blackpool magistrates.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said Scott went round to his ex’s and was abusive on April 6 at 12.15pm.

After accusing her of speaking to another man on a social networking site, he made a reference to getting his dogs out.

Police officers were called to the property and Scott was charged.

Scott told magistrates: “I was just arguing with my ex-partner.

“I was drunk.”
