Officers have break-in suspects in their sights

Residents in North Shore are being reminded to keep their sheds and garages secure.

Police continue to receive a high number of reports of thefts in the area with tools and bicycles being targeted.

Officers are also warning motorists to ensure their vans and cars are locked and valuables are not left on display.

Anyone with information about thefts in the area is also being asked to contact police, who do have several suspects in their sights.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “We are acting on lots of different intelligence which has been gratefully received, we currently have two particular suspects we feel may be responsible, one of which is already wanted.

“There is still plenty of work to be done
