A notorious sex offender who was driven out of a Lancashire town by a poster campaign is due to be sentenced at Preston Crown Court today after he admitted breaching a court order designed to keep him away from potential victims.

Anthony Goad, 45, was jailed in 2001 for sex attacks on girls in his home town of Morecambe, receiving a lifetime Sexual Offender Prevention Order (SOPO) as a result of his convictions.

Goad, now of Dinmore Avenue, Blackpool, admits breaching the order twice when he came into contact with two 17-year-olds via his 21-year-old current girlfriend.
