No plea as man is accused of stamping
A man accused of stamping on a woman neighbour at a block of flats has made his first appearance at court,
Darren Horn, 45, of Chadfield Road, Blackpool, is charged with maliciously wounding the woman with intent to cause her grievous bodily harm on May 6.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.
Defence lawyer, Allan Cobain, said his client would not indicate a plea to the offence at that stage.
Horn was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on June 8 by District Judge Jeff Brailsford sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
Horn must live at an address in the resort’s Langdale Road and not contact the neighbour or enter Chadfield Road as conditions of his bail.
