A RUSSIAN man accused of stabbing a fellow countryman in the neck and head has made his first appearance at court.
Vitalij Rylscikov, 39, formerly of Exchange Street, North Shore, Blackpool, now of no fixed address, is charged with maliciously wounding a 44-year-old Russian man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
The offence is alleged to have taken place at Blackpool on Tuesday March 19.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, asked for Rylscikov to be sent to the crown court.
Defence lawyer, Trevor Colebourne, said his client denied the offence.
Rylscikov was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on April 11 by Blackpool magistrates.
