A mother was over the alcohol limit when she drove away from a party with her two children.
Sarah Fish told police she had argued with her partner and she had injuries to her face.
Fish, 27, of Cranbrook Avenue, Bispham, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in Luton, Bedfordshire.
She was banned from the road for three years and fined £110 with £85 costs plus £20 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, said police arrived and found Fish in tears with injuries to her face and two children in the car. A breath test showed 43 micrograms of alcohol in her body - 35 is the limit.
Patrick Nelligan, defending, said Fish and her partner had been to a 30th birthday. There was an incident with her partner and other members of his family, so they had to leave.
