Detective Inspector Andy Smith of GMP’s Wigan Borough, said: “We have real concern for Stuart’s welfare and need to make sure that he’s reunited with his family as soon as we possibly can.

“Although he was last seen in Leigh, we believe he may be in the Blackpool area so I’d ask people in that area to familiarise themselves with his picture and description and get in touch if they have seen him.”

Anyone who sees Stuart or knows where he is should contact Greater Manchester Police on 101 quoting reference number 860 of 15/12/17 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
