Manhunt for burglar who absconded from Kirkham open prison

A burglar sentenced to over five years in prison last summer has absconded from Kirkham open prison, police said.

Price, of Pickten Avenue, Runcorn, was jailed for 64 months after being convicted of burglar at Chester Crown Court on August 12, 2016.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said this afternoon: "Sean Price left HMP Kirkham several days ago and has not been seen since.

"We are now asking anybody who sees him, or knows where he may be, to contact us as soon as possible.”

He was described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of stocky build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

His upper front teeth are chipped and he has a tattoo of a woman’s name on his right arm and a seven inch scar in the shape of a horse shoe on the back of his left hand.

He has connections across Cheshire and Lancashire, although is originally from Birmingham.
