A man stole more than £1,000 in property including a cancer charity box and contents when he burgled an opticians.
Simon Benson, 25, of Radcliffe Road, Fleetwood, pleaded guilty to burglary.
He was bailed for pre-sentence reports and warned by Blackpool magistrates he may be jailed.
Alison Quanbrough, prosecuting, said on March 7 the optician arrived for work at the shop on Lord Street, Fleetwood, and saw lenses on the pavement.
A fire door had been forced open and £1,100 worth of property stolen.
This included a McMillan cancer charity box and contents, spectacles, lenses, frames, stamps, a mobile phone, internet dongle, cash, an opticians magnifying lens and heater for fitting glasses.
Benson’s fingerprints were found at the scene.
