A man lost his temper when he saw his girlfriend cuddle another man.

He followed her home and when he found the door locked, he smashed a front window.

Michael Harrison, 28, of Leven Avenue, Fleetwood, was placed on an eight-week curfew by Blackpool Magistrates after he admitted criminal damage worth £140.

Alison Quanbrough, prosecuting, told the court:”After he was arrested Harrison told officers that he and his girlfriend had been drinking strong cider.”

Harrison’s lawyer Patrick Nelligan said: “The prosecution say he punched the window but he maintains he slammed it.”
