A man conned passers by with a “homeless and hungry” sign, despite living in a house with his family.

Blackpool Magistrates Court heard that father-of-three Andrew Dawick, of Gorton Street, central Blackpool, was raking in £367.58 a week in benefits during the scam.

Dawick, 45, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £115 costs.
