A MAN has made his first appearance in court charged with sexually assaulting a 10-week-old baby.

The Liam Marrow, of Abbotts Walk, Fleetwood, was arrested at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

Blackpool Magistrates Court heard how the 25-year-old is charged with being engaged in sexual activity in the presence of the 10-week -old baby while at the hospital.

Marrow is further charged with four allegations of sexually assaulting the baby.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between December 2012 and last Sunday.
