A man broke a court order after splitting up with his girlfriend.

Eugene Black did not keep in touch with his probation officer and failed to carry out payback work.

Black, 22, of Devonshire Road, Blackpool, admitted breaching a suspended prison sentence order.

He was sentenced to do an additional 12 hours unpaid work for the community and ordered to pay £50 costs by Blackpool magistrates.

David Charnley, defending, said Black had completed the majority of the order and had not re-offended.

He had failed to keep appointments after splitting-up with his partner.
