Man loses teeth and suffers broken jaw in bar attack

A 21-year-old man suffered a broken jaw and lost several teeth when he was punched by two men in a Blackpool bar, say police.

The man was taken by ambulance to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for where he received "extensive treatment".

Police have now released CCTV images in an attempt to identify two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

PC Jeanette Ashurst, of Blackpool Police, said: “We are investigating a serious assault at a Blackpool bar which has left the victim requiring extensive treatment in hospital.

“We are particularly keen to identify these men, pictured, in connection with our enquiries.

“We believe someone must recognise these individuals and if you do I would urge you to contact us immediately.”
