Man jailed for burglary, theft and imitation firearms offences absconds from HMP Kirkham

A 23-year-old man who was jailed for seven years is wanted by police after he absconded from HMP Kirkham.

Kieran Gordon, 23, is wanted for absconding from HMP Kirkham on Sunday (March 8th).

Gordon, originally from Sandwell in the West Midlands, was originally sentenced to seven years, eight months and 27 days for burglary, theft and imitation firearms offences.

He was sentenced in September 2014 at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "It is thought that he escaped from the prison in the evening whilst staff were dealing with a separate incident."

Gordon is described as mixed race, around 5ft 8in, of medium build with brown eyes and dark hair.

He also has a scar on his left arm which spells out a letter ‘K’.

Aside from Lancashire and the West Midlands, Gordon also has links to West Mercia and Leicester.
