A MAN has been arrested as part of a forced labour probe at a Fylde travellers site.
A 29-year-old was today being held on suspicion of “knowingly being involved in forced labour of another person” after police swooped at the site on Fairfield Road, Staining on Sunday morning.
Police posted letters through hundreds of homes in Poulton, Staining and the village of Hardhorn, around the time of the raid.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said: “As part of that operation a number of properties on the site were searched and a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of knowingly being involved in forced labour of another person.
“He has since been released on bail pending further inquiries until April 24.”
