Man faces handbag theft from store charges

A man accused of stealing three handbags from a Fylde store has been bailed by a court.

Thirty-three year old David Buckley of Station Road,Blackpool, is alleged to have stolen three Radley bags from Stringer’s department store in Lytham.

The stolen haul is said to be worth a combined £450.

He is further accused of stealing a hard drive from the Maplins outlet store on Squires Gate Lane, in South Shore, which is valued at £119.

Buckley was bailed by Blackpool Magistrates’ Court after he denied the offences.

His trial date was set for June 26 when he will return to the court.
