A Blackpool man has made his first court appearance charged with threatening to kill a woman with a crossbow.

Michael Buckley, 29, of Crystal Road,South Shore, is also charged with assaulting the same woman. He denies both offences.
Blackpool Magistrates’ Court heard he threatened to kill the victim when she demanded repayment of a £23,000 loan.
The case was adjourned until a date for the trial can be fixed.
