A man has been charged with sex offences against two girls in the Blackpool area.

Christopher Rixon, 41, of Poplar Grove, Liverpool is accused of 20 sex offences including rape, sexual assault and incitement to engage in sexual activity.

The offences were allegedly committed between 2012 and 2016 in the Blackpool area and involve two girls who were aged between 11 and 16-years-old at the time.

Rixon is due to appear before Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on September 25.
