A MAN who caused a nuisance outside his former partner’s home struggled violently with police when they arrived on the scene and tried to arrest him.

Martin King, 24, of Millington Avenue, South Shore, admitted breach of the peace when he appeared before Blackpool Magistrates Court.

Sue McNamara, prosecuting said the incident broke out at King’s ex partner’s home on January 20.

The woman contacted police to say he was banging and kicking at her front door.

The court was told how the defendant was extremely hostile to the police when they arrived on the scene.

He told the officers who arrested him: “ I know what you’re going to say but I’m not moving until I get my stuff.”

King denied kicking and banging at the door, saying he knocked on it when he arrived at the address.

He was bound over in the sum of £50 for 12 months by the bench after admitting being in breach of the peace.
