A MAN lost his temper when an escort girl turned up at his hotel room.

The woman was not the sort of girl Tony Chandler had requested when he contacted the agency, Blackpool magistrates heard.

The court was told Chandler then went on the run for 15 months following the incident.

The defendant, 49, of Westbourne Road, Cleveleys, who also has a home in Thailand, admitted assaulting the woman and committing threatening racially aggravated behaviour.

He also admitted assaulting the police officer who arrested him by spitting as well as a bail offence.

The court heard how the assaults took place in December 2010.

He failed to turn up at court after being bailed by police.

Chandler’s case was adjourned so pre-sentence reports can be prepared.
