A man was arrested after police saw him confronting another man outside a bar.

Craig Elliott, 30, of Rydal Avenue, Blackpool, admitted being drunk and disorderly.

He was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.

Martine Connah, prosecuting, said that on April 14, at 12.50am, police saw Elliott who was shouting at another man outside the Tapas Bar.

Elliott was clenching his fists and was arrested after being aggressive and abusive to police.

Steven Townley, defending, said a man had assaulted Elliott in the bar and they had both been ejected.

Elliott was unhappy because he felt he had done nothing wrong and did not co-operate with police.
