A drunken man made a nuisance of himself in front of the toilets on the Central Drive car park.

John Lyons was rude to people queuing up to use the toilets as his girlfriend lay on the ground.

Lyons, 34, of Queen Street, Blackpool, admitted being drunk and disorderly and possessing cannabis.

He was sentenced to a 28 day tagged curfew from 8pm to 6am by Blackpool magistrates.

The incident happened at 2.45pm on June 1.

Hugh Pond, defending, said Lyons had been trying to persuade his girlfriend to get up.
