A man stole a mobile phone and charger valued at £300 during a break-in at neighbour’s flat in Blackpool’s Yates Street.

Arran Julienne, 25, of Yates Street, North Shore, pleaded guilty before a magistrates’ court to burglary.

The incident happened on February 7.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, asked the bench for Julienne to be remanded in custody.

Defence lawyer, Steven Townley, did not ask for bail for his client and told the court Julienne had committed the offence while on bail to the crown court.

Julienne was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on February 25 by Blackpool magistrates.
