A man committed his seventh offence of breaching a restraining order when he went near a former girlfriend.

Vincent O’Grady’s new partner lived just across the road from his ex and when he visited her he broke a court order.

O’Grady, 41, of Gorton Street, in Blackpool, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to comply with the restraining order.

He was bailed by Blackpool magistrates for pre-sentence reports.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said the order lasted for a year and it banned him from going within 100 metres of his former girlfriend’s home.
