A father was arrested after taking the so-called legal high drug Russian Spice.
Malcolm Horrocks, 43, was found by his wife collapsed in their garden in Easington Crescent, Grange Park.
I have no excuses
Horrocks’ hands were twitching in a strange manner, the town’s magistrates were told.
His wife phoned for an ambulance and when paramedics arrived he got up and offered to fight them.
Police were then called and Horrocks became so agitated he had to be taken to the floor and arrested for causing a breach of the peace.
Horrocks admitted the offence and was bound over to keep the peace for 12 months in the sum of £150.
He told the court: “I have no excuses.
“I felt like an outsider watching what was going on.”
