LATEST: Man arrested after hit-and-run as another is treated in hospital

A 40-year-old man from Blackpool has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after the hit-and-run crash in Garstang Road last night, police said.

He handed himself in and remains in police custody, the force said.

A second man, 38 and also from Blackpool, is being treated at Royal Preston Hospital for an arm injury and will be "spoken with by police in due course," it added.

Police were hunting for two men after the crash, with happened at around 8am and left three women with serious injuries.
