The haul of Class B drugs will now be dismantled and destroyed, officers have confirmed.

A stark warning was issued to landlords by police this afternoon (July 1), alerting them to be wary of tenants that might be paying in cash, adding it "might be" too good to be true.

A spokesman for Blackpool Police said: "Landlords do you know who you are renting too? If they are paying in cash and it seems too good to be true it just might be.

"It will now be down to the owner to fix and reconnect the electricity."
