A case in which a man is accused of breaching fire regulations has had its first court hearing.
Blackpool Magistrates adjourned proceedings against Michael Stones, 55, of Whitemoss Avenue, Blackpool, for two weeks until July 15.
Stones is being prosecuted by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service inrespect of a property on Park Road,Blackpool.
It is alleged he put residents at risk of injury or death by failing to make sure there was adequate fire safety separators between the basement and ground floor.
It is further alleged he did not have adequate fire fighting equipment on the premises or an alarm system.
In all, Stones faces 10 charges brought under the Fire Safety Act.
He did not attend court.
