An inquest has been opened into the death of a man who died after being stabbed in St Annes.

Ian Dollery, 51, died from “multiple stab wounds” police said, after being found outside a home on York Road in St Annes on June 18.

Senior coroner Alan Wilson, sitting at Blackpool Coroner’s Court, officially opened a hearing into the death of Mr Dollery, a father-of-one, yesterday.

Mr Dollery was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
