Prosecutor, Pam Smith, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.

Defence lawyer, Paolo Passerini, said his client had indicated he would plead not guilty to all the offences.

Humphries was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on February 10 by Blackpool magistrates.

He must live at an address in Birkenhead and not enter Blackpool as a condition of his bail.
