A TEENAGE girl launched an unprovoked attack on a woman punching and slapping her after she used a cashpoint.

Chelsea Jones, 18, of Palatine Road, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to assault and was bailed for pre-sentence reports by District Judge Pamela Baldwin sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.

Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said a 22-year-old woman got out of a taxi to use a cash machine. Jones approached the woman and became aggressive on November 25 at 2.45am

Jones punched the woman twice and slapped her as she got back into the taxi.

The victim was left with two small bumps to the side of her head.
