Further arrests made as anti-social teenagers are 'making residents lives hell' in Caunce Street area of Blackpool

There has been further arrests made by police involving a group of anti-social teenagers in Blackpool.

Police were called to the Caunce Street area yesterday and two arrests were made.

The Blackpool Task Force along with the neighbourhood policing team were also sent out to the area on Monday after a number of reports regarding the group of youths causing anti-social behaviour. A police spokesman said the teens are 'making residents lives hell.'

A 14 -year-old boy has already been arrested and charged after a police officer was kicked in the head last week. The investigation is ongoing.

A spokesman for Blackpool Police said: “If your child is out in this area then get them home.

“We have increased patrols and will be dealing with any troublemakers robustly. Don’t let your child be one of them.”

Blackpool Police have increased its presence in the Milbourne Street and Gorton Street area as well as Caunce Street which included a Section 35 dispersal order put in place last week.
