Fugitive who sparked nationwide manhunt after skipping court is nicked
A man who skipped court - where he was due to be sentenced for abusing a young girl - has been arrested, police said.
Officers feared David Graham Laycock, 43, from Burnley, was hiding out in Blackpool and had earlier this week urged resort residents to keep an eye out for him.
North Yorkshire Police this morning confirmed Laycock was arrested in Halifax last night.
