Fleetwood victim David Allinson 'died from heart attack' - suspect released under investigation and manhunt continues

A reveller found dead after a row at a Fleetwood pub has been named by police as David Allinson, 63.

His identity was released as a 62-year-old man from the port town, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, was released under investigation.

Detectives, who continue to hunt another man in connection with Sunday evening's 'altercation' at the Kings Arms Hotel in Lord Street, said they are no longer treating the incident as murder after a post-mortem examination revealed Mr Allison died from a heart attack.

DCI Gareth Willis, from Lancashire's Force Major Investigation Team, said: "We are treating this as a manslaughter investigation and are looking for another man who we believe was in the pub at the time of the incident.

"If you think this was you, you know where he is, or you have any information about the incident at all, please make contact with us."

Mr Allinson was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital after being found unconcious in the street. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
