Six months were also added to the term of a suspended prison sentence he was under by Blackpool magistrates.

John Abbott, prosecuting, said O’Hara stole eight deodorants from Booths, Ansdell, on May 10, then returned to the supermarket and again stole eight deodorants two days later.

Ashley Fisher, defending, said his client suffered from mental health problems and believed he was related to a past member of the Royal Family.

On the days he stole the deodorants O’Hara had been inhaling solvents.
