A teenage boy has sparked a police search after being reported as missing from his home in Poulton.

15-year-old Drew Ferguson was last seen on Breck Road, Poulton, at around 2pm on Saturday, February 15.

In an appeal released to the media today police have said they are growing “more concerned” for the teenager and are urging anyone to come forward with information.

He is believed to be in Burnley, where the majority of his friends and family live, but has not been seen by police.

Drew is described as white, with short, fair hair and of slim build. He was last seen wearing a navy Nike tracksuit with white Nike trainers.

Insp Andrew Carter said: “As time goes by we are becoming more concerned for Drew and would urge anyone with information about his current or recent whereabouts to contact police.

“Although Drew has not been seen by officers we have received reports that he is in the Burnley area where the majority of his friends and family reside.

“Please come forward if you have any information at all which could help us.”
