A father and son suffered minor injuries after a collision with a car close to a Fylde park today.
The man, in his 30s, and the boy, believed to be four, were injured at the junction of Park View Road and Mythop Road near Park View playing fields in Lytham.
Three police cars and an ambulance were called to the incident which happened around 2pm.
A police spokesman said: “A young child and an adult man were both in collision with a car at the junction of Park View Road and Mythop Road around 2.10pm.
“The road was blocked off. A white Nissan Juke was involved. The young boy has minor cuts to his hands and one to his head.
“The father involved has a suspected broken ankle or broken foot.”
Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
