A former Fleetwood Town FC coach was arrested after he failed to comply with a court order.

Daniel Naylor, who was a coach for juniors at the club before stealing cash from there, had been given a number of opportunities to carry out the payback work.

Naylor, 25, of Derbyshire Road, Fleetwood, admitted failing to comply with the conditions of a community order.

He was sentenced to 12 weeks jail suspended for 12 months by Blackpool magistrates.

Peter Moran, prosecuting for the probation service, said that Naylor had previously been sentenced to do 80 hours unpaid work for the community and put on 12 months supervision.

This was for an offence of theft of a total of £950 from Fleetwood Football Club where Naylor worked as a coach for the juniors.
