So Brittain turned his attention to her Mazda car scrawling obscene messages on the paint work and smashing a rear light.

Brittain, of Loftos Avenue, South Shore, admitted criminal damage to the car when he appeared before Blackpool magistrates.

The court heard Brittain is to be recalled to prison under the terms of his licence. Magistrates added another 28 days to his sentence.

He was also made the subject of a two year restraining order.
