A bar promotions worker asked to leave her workplace after she drank too much, thumped one of the bar’s door security officers.

Yvette Babbington rolled about on the floor at Blackpool’s Bar Heaven and Gaiety’s complex and hurled a glass at the security officer.

Babbington, 27, of Baldwin Grove, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to assault and threatening behaviour.

She wept as she was sentenced to 20 weeks jail suspended for two years, put on two years supervision, given a 56 days curfew from 9pm to 6am and ordered to pay £400 costs plus £80 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates,
