A drink driver ran a red light in front of police and broke the speed limit in the centre of Kirkham.
Philip Porter, 30, formerly of Carr Lane, Kirkham, now living at Porter Street East, Wesham, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol.
He was banned from the road for 12 months, fined £100 with £50 costs and ordered to pay a £150 court charge with £20 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Prosecutor, Alison Quanbrough, said police saw Porter drive a Peugeot through red traffic lights onto Poulton Street, Kirkham on October 4.
A breath test showed 50 microgrammes of alcohol in his body - 35 is the limit.
Porter’s defence said he had had a couple of pints but thought he was OK to drive.
