Driver 'rams' police car and injures officer before running away

A police officer was injured after a stolen car was 'rammed' into a police car during a chase in Blackpool, the force said.

A police officer was injured after a stolen car was 'rammed' into a police car during a chase in Blackpool, the force said.

The driver of the stolen silver Vauxhall Insignia then ran off, and was chased by fellow officers, the Road Policing Unit said.

One person was later arrested, and allegedly tested positive for cannabis.

The injured officer was not badly hurt.
